All we seem to hear these days is ‘see it before it goes.’ Without a doubt everyone is talking about Cuba! Here at Skedaddle we have two unique tours which promise plenty of heavenly pedalling, as well as a unique insight into the Caribbean’s most fascinating island…
Our two-week Cuban Revolutions tour starts in the birthplace of the Cuban Revolution, Santiago and undoubtedly brings this island’s absorbing history to life! Having soaked up the colonial architecture and revolutionary tales at its starting point, you then head out along the coastline for your first taste of the country’s idyllic beaches. As you head further inland, more legendary haunts of the revolution emerge, from the striking Parque Nautural d‘Embarque del Granma to Castro’s secret jungle hideout. Along the way, you’ll also explore several UNESCO gems, including the ethereal Viñales Valley. Finally, having had your fill of this island’s colourful past, we’ll then cycle to Havana to celebrate the end of your tour on a suitable high, with cocktails and Salsa!
Like the idea of exploring Cuba by bike but don’t have two weeks to spare? Our one-week Cuban Wheels holiday is perfect for those looking for a shorter escape. Highlights of this tour include the colourful homes of Trinidad and manatee spotting off the coast of Playa Larga.
