Entries are now open for the Gorrick 12:12 Torq in your Sleep, so if you have enjoyed / are enjoying the Saddle Skedaddle Spring Series and fancy a little more of a challenge then this popular 12 hour Enduro is for you!
The biking takes places from noon until midnight…hence the 12:12 and headline sponsors are by Torq Fitness www.torqfitness.co.uk with Skedaddle there as well with some teams / riders and eager to chat about our UK Weekends and overseas holidays when you are not riding – see www.skedaddle.com/uk for a peak now if you can’t wait!!
Venue wise, it is based at Minley Manor, Minley, Hants. and on offer are categories for Solos, Pairs or Teams of 3 or 4 (with team members not needed to confirmed until the day of the event – great flexibility eh!!).
You can expect a superb 8 mile figure of 8 course featuring the Bridge to Nowhere, Banksy and Minley Maze, a huge marque in an arena with loads of trade stands (that’s where we’ll be) and lots of music (fortunately not us singing).
Free trackside camping is available from Saturday lunchtime until Monday lunchtime with plenty of toilets and piping hot showers, so why not bring along the mates and family make a weekend of it?
Quaver catering will have their marquee on site throughout the whole weekend…and they sell more than Quavers of course.
Not only are there great trophies and prizes for the winners, but also loads of spot prizes to be won in the killer prize draw while you relax at the end with a well deserved drink or three.
Entry is by online pre-entry only at www.mbsawebsite.com and don’t leave it too long before you enter if you want to be sure of a place. Pairs and Team confirmations can then be finally confirmed on the day, when you sign on and collect your registration packs complete with goodies and spot prizes. Its Gorricks 20th year running mountain bike events and here’s hoping we see you soon!!
