Our team of experts know a thing or two about how to organise a cycling holiday and, alongside making sure your holiday runs smoothly, love nothing more than exploring the world on two wheels! We caught up with Kay and Jess, to find out a little more about our pair of leisure cycling experts:
1.What do you love about cycling?
Kay: Cycling is an incredible way to explore new places and provides countless memorable experiences.
Jess: It’s perfect for getting out and about and soaking up some fresh air!
2. Which trips have taken your fancy in our range?
Kay: Our new (WARNING, sneak peek for 2017) Pisa to Florence and Berlin to Copenhagen tours sound great. City to city is best, with plenty of fun in-between.
Jess: Azure Ocean Ride or Lake Constance. I’ve just recently cycled along the Danube and loved pedalling beside a sparkling waterway.
3. What’s your favourite cake or post ride tipple?
Kay: I like crisps and a cold beer.
Jess: I’m partial to a chocolate brownie and a fruity cider.
4. Tell us 3 essential items on your travel packing list…
Kay: A scarf, a camera (phone) and a pair of padded leggings.
Jess: Suncream (I would burn in the North Pole), a hoody (for comfort on the plane) and some flip flops (because you’re going on a holiday after all!)
5. If you could cycle with someone, dead or alive, who would it be?
Kay: Probably my mum (she’s alive). I think it would be hilarious!
Jess: Louis Theroux. I enjoy a good debate so he’d keep me distracted up any hills with his stories from across the globe.
