A memorable experience
This was my first tour with Skedaddle and I now plan to take more Skedaddle trips. The plan for the tour was excellent and the days were laid out perfectly; especially considering the towns we stopped in and the overall experience I had. This was my first Skedaddle holiday and I have come away extremely pleased.
The guides provided excellent service throughout the tour. Each day of this trip was very special so it is hard to pick a favourite, but for me day 4 from Cala Gonone to Bitti was marvellous, it was a very well designed day creating a memorable experience for me.
Didn't want to go home...
Skedaddle is the only cycle tour company I would recommend to people, it speaks for itself when so many people you meet on a Skedaddle tour have done multiple trips – they are addictive!
I had a couple of issues and questions which were always answered or sorted within a day of being raised.
If Massimo and Nicola are guiding together on any other tours then I would most definitely book to go on those!
Every day was planned to deliver an excellent experience....
All the guides were friendly knowledgable and helpful. It was like being on holiday with friends. Again they all struck a balance between friendship and professionalism. Came away feeling like I had met some great people.
The quality of the lunches would exceed any travellers expectation. The hard work of the team to produce an outstanding picnic every day was really appreciated.
Expensive holiday worth every penny. Loved having some of the evening meals prepaid. This holiday does represent value for money.
Already thinking of another Skedaddle holiday...
The Tour organised and hosted by Massimo is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone. He even managed to fit in some ‘cheeky climbs’ thereby adding some ‘extra spice’ to the climbing. Oh and by-the-way the food is excellent and the views are just breath taking!
Skedaddle allowed me to just relax and enjoy my holiday...
The Skedaddle staff and organisation was extremely good, allowing the group just to concentrate on the ride and really appreciate the continually changing Sardinian landscape.
Massimo was a fabulous tour leader, he had a very good manner with all of the cyclists.
Favourite day was Tuesday – Lanusei-Cala Gonome. A beautiful setting by the beach for lunch, and a nice long climb in the afternoon followed by a ice creams at the top. Finally had a lovely long descent to Cala Gonome where we stayed at a nice hotel on the sea front.
Our guide Lieven was very good with a lovely sense of humour. Nicola was a very happy, smiling character. Always willing to help, and provide assistance when required.
I liked every day!
The team of guides were great – Cristina was very kind and helpful and Danilo did his work superbly!
I loved every minute of it...
This was my first Skedaddle road bike holiday and it was truly wonderful. I loved every minute of it. The guides were brilliant and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for them. Already looking for my next holiday!
Nothing was too much trouble. Massimo, Jonathon and John were fantastic and so incredibly helpful. Couldn’t fault them.
