Holiday Information

Exmoor continues to be a favourite Skedaddle mountain bike holiday in the UK, with its abundance of trails and variety of terrain, from moorland tops to craggy sea cliffs. Exmoor is recognised as one of the best and most challenging off-road cycling destinations in the UK.
Based near Selworthy, we head first to the coast before climbing from Portlock up onto the wild moors. As ever, you’ll be rewarded with great descents, but the assault to Dunkery Beacon, the highest point on Exmoor, makes it especially worthwhile! On Sunday, Dunster is the first destination of the day (via a descent down Grabbist Hill) and then the quintessential seaside resort of Minehead. From there, we head up North Hill and onto the South West Coast Path, with fantastic sea views, and then return to Selworthy enjoying the run down Bossington Hill on the way!
If you’ve found out how much fun you can have on a mountain bike on your local trails, then it’s time you headed to the ‘real’ outdoors and join us in a different part of the UK!
These fun weekends are fully guided with at least two MIAS qualified biking guides, and fully supported with a vehicle and driver too.
Based in a fantastic country house, train station pick-ups and drop-offs can be arranged. With hearty breakfasts and lush lunches the order of the day, all you need to decide is what to have as your evening meal and which local ale you’ll be sampling.
And of course, if our dates don't fit, we can put on your own special weekend if there are a group of you!
