The kids loved it!
Hadrians Wall cycle pathway was the first holiday of its kind for us as a family, we tend to be abroad in the sunshine and chilling by the pool. We have 2 children, aged 10 & 6. They loved it! Some of the hills on day 3 were a little challenging for our youngest, but he persevered, dug deep and he accomplished all the hills. The scenery is outstanding, a part of the country that we haven’t really explored. Plenty of photo opportunities and an abundance of historic places to stop and visit. In addition to this, there were many great places to stop and refuel with fabulous cake!! Since we have returned, we have had many family and friends asking about our holiday… think we have started a bit of a trend :-) This holiday was an opportunity to completely switch off, exercise, spend time with our loved ones and have a fabulous adventure within our island! We will definitely pursue another holiday similar to this.

We LOVED it.
We really enjoyed the cycling, the route, accommodation, and places to eat were really great. We did the Hadrian’s Wall cycle, and as a family holiday it’s really brilliant. The roads are very quiet, and the route is largely easy. That said, there are hilly sections on the route, we would dismount and push our bikes on these sections, with no problems. There were plenty of places to stop, and visit the wall, plenty of lovely places to eat on route. We LOVED it.
Service is so so so so good. From a functional point of view, the bikes, panniers, helmets etc. we great, really good quality, and very comfortable. The places we stayed in were excellent. There were so many favourite days, but from a cycling point of view, going from Twice Brewed to Corbridge was great. We had been over the highest point and it was downhill all the way, a great day. The girls also said that the final 2 days were brilliant. The bikes were excellent, and comfortable. Thanks for putting the silicone in the saddles, it made a huge difference. What more can I add, anyone who goes to the trouble of organising help when you really need it can only be described as the best. We would definitely recommend Skedaddle.

Excellent!
Hard to choose a favourite day – they were all good, best was maybe Twice Brewed to Corbridge. I have recommend Skedaddle to three people in 2 days!
