If you’re looking for an authentic mountain biking adventure then one of our place-to-place cross-country style journeys are the place to start. Travelling through remote areas under your own power means we get a fantastic appreciation for the wilderness that we are exploring. Along the way we’ll be seeking out the best singletrack on offer, but the riding will be a mixture of trail types and surfaces all leading us to where we need to be. You’ll need to be in good shape for many of these trips and a lightweight bike in good condition is essential.

In the UK the Sandstone Way in Northumberland and our Highlands Coast to Coast tour in Scotland both showcase the very best of UK mountain biking. In Europe our Spanish offering includes the Trans Picos and Trans Andaluz, whilst in Italy the epic Sardinian Transardata offers superb riding. For those looking to travel even further afield for their journey, Morocco the Atlas Traverse is the perfect choice.

This holiday is great fun on a regular mountain bike or an e-mountain bike and you can choose to hire either when you book your holiday with us! If you’re an experienced rider, you can choose one of our quality e-mountain hire bikes and experience the buzz of a pedal-assisted ride. Select your e-MTB hire when you book a holiday with us. Bear in mind that the pace will be set to riders with a regular mountain bike.
