To ensure you have the best experience possible, we’d recommend travelling in the Spring or in the Autumn. We don’t as standard offer this tour in the hotter, more humid, busier summer months of July and August. Worth noting We run this tour from Jan through to Dec. The summer months however (generally from 01 Jul – 15 Sep) can be really busy. More people, more cyclists, busier restaurants, busier hotels etc, so we’d recommend travelling in the Spring or Autumn if you‘re looking for a quieter getaway with less cyclists to share the route with.

Worth noting! Some cafes / restaurants only open during the Swedish summer holiday season (July – second week of August). If travelling earlier in the season (May/June) or towards the end of August, into Sept, we’d recommend stocking up on supplies from a supermarket, and making sure you have snacks, plenty to drink, and / or a picnic with you on each ride. You’ll find some places operate throughout the year, but earlier / later in the season options can be limited, so worth being prepared!
