Holiday Information

Join us on this leisurely journey between Andalucia's three greatest cities, Granada, Cordoba and Seville. All three cities are entrenched in ancient-Moorish heritage and ooze Andaluz culture.
The cities are linked with rides through rolling sierras and olive groves and into La Campina, once the ‘bread-basket’ of the Roman Empire. We'll cycle along the purpose-built cycle way, the Vias Verdes; once the railway lines of the region, they are now disused and perfect for cycling! By design they are compact and flat, offering the perfect, rolling network from which to enjoy the breathtaking scenery and cultural and historical delights of the real Andalucia.
This adventure will thrill the senses calling first at Granada, the last Moorish capital, bursting with history and architecture. The beauty of the majestic Alhambra Palace and Generalife gardens are unmissable and we would highly recommend you arrive in Granada a few days early to see the sights and soak-up the seductiveness of this wonderful city. Our route meanders through craggy sierras, passing castle-topped villages with overnight stays in Baena and Bujalance, which are immersed in the production of liquid gold; olive oil.
The next stop is the birth place of Spanish Flamenco. Cordoba is a curious mix of Moorish and Catholic architectural wizardry, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed city in which the Mezquita, or Mosque-Cathedral, reigns supreme. The Vias Verdes cycle paths will take us on gentle trails to the monumental Carmona, before a short last day of riding into Seville, full of Andalucian treasures. A bike tour around this cycle-friendly city will give us the chance to see the sights, like the cathedral and Giralda tower.  Seville, a city characterised by flamenco, tapas bars and remarkable architecture, is a truly unforgettable cultural experience and a real highlight to end this fantastic holiday.
If you have time to extend your holiday then we would recommend extra time in Granada, to visit the Alhmabra, Cordoba, to visit the Mezquita, and Seville, to explore the Cathedral. Please let us know if you would like any additional nights.
